Born and raised in the vibrant city of Reykjavík, Iceland, where the unique blend of Scandinavian culture and breathtaking natural beauty had a profound impact on his early life. As he grew older, he made the bold decision to venture across the Atlantic and spend half his life in and around the bustling metropolis of New York City, where he immersed himself in the fast-paced world of advertising, quickly rising through the ranks to become an award-winning Creative Director.
However, it was a chance opportunity that led him to explore his hidden passion for acting. On a whim, he found himself delving into the world of the performing arts, and to his surprise, he discovered a natural talent. He honed his skills under the guidance of renowned acting coaches, including the late Bill Esper, Patrick Page, Jordan Lage, Seth Barrish, and Rich Topol, as well as at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts.
As his acting career began to take off, he landed a string of TV and film roles, including appearances in Jarðarförin mín/My Funeral, FBI, Ráðherrann/The Minister, Law & Order/SVU, Ófærð 2/Trapped 2, The Blacklist, The Mysteries of Laura, The Michael J. Fox Show, The Men Who Built America, and several independent features and short films.
In addition to his television and film work, he has also had the privilege of gracing the stages of Broadway and Off-Broadway theaters. Notably, he was part of the ensemble cast of A Man for All Seasons, alongside the legendary Frank Langella, directed by the esteemed Doug Hughes at the Roundabout Theatre.
His extensive experience in New York City theater has led to a wide range of roles, including Howard in Boy Gets Girl, Westcott in The Man Who Came to Dinner, Governor Davis in Stand Fast, Dr. Weitzner in We Call Her Benny, Uncle Murray in Moonchildren, and Preston in the world premiere of Private Disclosures.
Beyond the bright lights of the Big Apple, he has also had the opportunity to perform in regional theater productions, including Martelleau in Tovarich, Marshall in The Little Foxes, and Basque in The Misanthrope at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Lyman in Other Desert Cities at The Company, John in Lips Together, Teeth Apart at 4th Wall Theatre, Sidney in Where's My Money? at Rising Curtain, John in Baby with the Bathwater at Black Box Productions, and George in The Actor's Nightmare at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts.
