Egbert Jan, a talented individual, was born in the city of Groningen in the year 1981. His journey in the world of performing arts began when he enrolled in the Theatre School in Groningen, where he spent four years honing his craft.

As he entered adulthood, Egbert Jan made his professional debut at the tender age of 18 in the television production "Uitgesloten". His portrayal of Jonathan Stork earned him a nomination for the prestigious Golden Calf award, the highest honor in Dutch cinema.
