Edward, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began his acting journey in high school plays, but it wasn't until later in life that he pursued it as a career. Prior to this, he spent 40 years working for a health insurance company, where he utilized his creative side by volunteering for various community service programs.
During his time in the corporate world, Edward showcased his talents by writing and performing in a skit titled "Say No to Drugs," and he even sang as a tenor in the company choir, which performed at retirement homes and hospitals.
As he approached retirement, Edward had the opportunity to work as an extra in the movie "Warrior," and despite the challenging all-night shoots and cold temperatures, he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This sparked his passion for acting, and he went on to enroll in acting classes, both beginner and advanced levels, to hone his craft.
Edward's newfound career allowed him to travel to various locations for filming, including Baltimore for episodes of "House of Cards" and "Veep," as well as Cleveland for "Captain America II" and "Downward Dog." He even traveled to Abilene, Texas, to work on a project for Ohio University called "Joyride."
As a character actor, Edward has had the opportunity to portray a wide range of themes, from an Amish man in "Banshee" to a Mountain man in "Outsiders," and even a Zombie in "My Uncle John is a Zombie." One of his latest accomplishments is the role of Warden Moyer in "The Final Interview," where he worked alongside notable actors Grainger Hines and Diane Franklin.
Whether it's a big-budget production, an independent film, or an IMDB credit, Edward can be found on the big screen, bringing his talents to life for audiences everywhere.
