Biography

Eduardo Durao, a Portuguese filmmaker with a global perspective, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Initially, he pursued a path in Mechanical and Civil Engineering, but his creative inclinations soon led him to switch gears and focus on Business Communication at ISCEM in Lisbon. His academic journey continued at the London Film School, where he earned a scholarship from the Portuguese Ministry of Culture to study Film.

With his multifaceted skills and extensive experience, Durao has worked in various capacities across the globe, including production, directing, videography, writing, and editing. His portfolio boasts an impressive array of projects, spanning film, television, and video production, with a presence in the US, Mexico, Brazil, England, France, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

One of his most notable achievements was his involvement in the Fox TV show "2019 FIFA Women's World Cup", which earned a Sports Emmy Award in the Outstanding Technical Team Studio category in 2020. As part of the Studio Technical Team, Durao worked on the project in Paris in 2019.

In addition to his work in film and television, Durao also explores his passion for photography, occasionally taking on projects and shooting at renowned studios such as Quixote and Smashbox in Los Angeles.
