Edson Jean, a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, spent his formative years in Delray Beach, Florida, where he developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
Upon completing his high school education, Edson made the bold decision to relocate to Miami, where he pursued his passion for theatre at the prestigious New World School of the Arts.
Throughout his time at New World School of the Arts, Edson diligently worked towards earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which he successfully achieved.
Following his academic pursuits, Edson went on to showcase his multifaceted talents by writing, directing, and starring in the 2012 production, "The Adventures of Edson Jean".
This remarkable achievement garnered significant recognition, as it was officially selected by the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) and HBO, a testament to Edson's exceptional skill and dedication to his craft.
