Eddie Cahill, a talented individual with a rich background, was born on January 15, 1978, in the vibrant city of New York. With a unique blend of Italian and Irish heritage, he is the second of three siblings, with one older and one younger sister. Prior to pursuing his passion for acting, Eddie studied for a year and a half at New York University's Atlantic Theater Co. Acting School.
Eddie's early foray into the world of acting was marked by his appearance in Nicky Silver's Off-Broadway play, The Altruists, in the year 2000. This was followed by his debut on television screens in June of the same year, where he guest-starred alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the popular series, Sex and the City.
Eddie's breakthrough role came in October 2000, when he landed the part of Rachel's new assistant in the iconic sitcom, Friends. This role catapulted him to fame and opened up new opportunities for him in the television industry.
In addition to his work on Friends, Eddie has made appearances in a range of other television shows, including Charmed, Felicity, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He has also had a successful career in film, with notable roles in Disney's Miracle and Lords of Dogtown.
In 2001, Eddie signed a holding deal with The WB Network to star in his own television show, Glory Days. Although the show did not last long, Eddie continued to work in television, making appearances in the series Haunted and Dawson's Creek.
Eddie's latest venture is his role as Detective Don Flack in the popular CBS series, CSI: NY. He has been a part of the show since 2004 and can be seen every Wednesday at 10/9 central.
