Following his relocation to New York City, Skiles created numerous short films for the renowned Waverly Films YouTube channel, a body of work that subsequently opened doors to opportunities in directing stand-up specials, commercials, and music videos.
Skiles' inaugural feature film, "The Clovehitch Killer," a 2018 release through IFC Midnight, seamlessly merged his signature dry comedic style with a profound appreciation for minimalist suspense, resulting in a cinematic experience that is both captivating and thought-provoking.
