Duane Antony Wiremu Wichman-Evans, professionally known as Duane Evans Jr, is a talented New Zealand-Maori actor who has been captivating audiences with his performances since the tender age of three. His extensive career has seen him take on a wide range of roles, with his most recent and notable appearance being that of Rotxo in James Cameron's highly anticipated Avatar sequels.
Prior to his work on the Avatar franchise, Duane made a lasting impression on New Zealand audiences with his portrayal of Michael Hampton-Rees on the long-running soap opera, 'Shortland Street', a role he held for an impressive three and a half years. His other notable credits include the award-winning short film 'Ebony Society', the feature film 'Fantail', and the TV film 'Billy', in which he played the role of young Billy T James.
