Doug's life began in the Garden State, New Jersey, where he spent his formative years, summers by the Jersey Shore, and winters in the picturesque Vernon Valley. His father, Hank Finelli, operates the esteemed Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park, residing with his wife Linda. Meanwhile, Doug's mother, Phyllis, still calls the family home in New Jersey her own.
Doug's educational journey took him to North Highland Region in Allendale, where he completed his high school years, before transferring to the prestigious Barnstable Academy in Glenrock. He then pursued his passion for the arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, followed by graduate studies at the renowned Art Center College in Pasadena, California, where he crossed paths with Mitch Galane.
Doug's personal life is marked by his union with Michelle Finelli. He started his professional career in the advertising industry and has since ventured out as a commercial director, shooting spots for notable brands such as Nissan and Fruit of the Loom, working across the country.
