Born in Albion, New York, Douglas began his acting journey in the first grade, continuing to participate in school productions throughout his high school years.
Obtaining an acting scholarship to Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, he initially pursued studies in mathematics and French, only to eventually realize his true passion lay solely in acting.
Subsequently, he relocated to Hollywood, securing a few minor breaks, but ultimately deciding it was not yet his time to thrive in the industry.
Returning to Buffalo, New York, Doug continued to actively engage with community theater, even landing a season-long stint as a cowboy and stuntman at Fantasy Island in Grand Island, New York.
Following a decade-long hiatus from acting, Doug recently secured a featured role in the locally produced and filmed House of Horrors: Gates of Hell, a production of DWM Productions.
Doug is currently married to an extraordinary nurse for five years, and together they have two lovely sons who have brought immense joy to his life.
In addition, Doug has recently come to terms with his receding hairline, although he still occasionally yearns for his former locks.
