Biography

Doron Eran is a renowned Israeli producer/director with a prolific career spanning feature films, TV dramas, and documentary films. With over 50 movies and TV films/series to his credit, he has made a significant impact on the local and international film industries.

Eran's filmography boasts a diverse range of critically acclaimed projects, including "White Night," which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival's Director's Fortnight, and "Burning Land," which won the Best Jury Award at the Torino Film Festival in Italy. Other notable films include "Beyond The Walls II," which received the Best Actor Award at the Valencia Film Festival in Spain, and "Overdose," which won the Best Actor Award at the Beijing Film Festival in China.

Eran's work has also been recognized at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, where he won the Best Director and Best Film awards for "God's Sandbox." His film "Nika" was an official selection at the Moscow International Film Festival and won the Best Foreign Film Award at the Beijing International Film Festival.

In recognition of his outstanding work, the Kolkata Film Festival conducted a retrospective of Eran's films in 2008, showcasing 7 of his films, and the Pune International Film Festival held a retrospective of his work in 2009.
