Don Daniel's career in the entertainment industry has spanned over two decades, marked by a diverse range of accomplishments.
It all began with a series of benefit rock concerts in Atlanta, produced for "Project Hospital Inc.", which raised funds for a mobile hospital in Bangladesh. This led to his appointment as General Manager at WRAS-FM Atlanta, where he oversaw the station's growth, popularity, and market share, which skyrocketed.
Next, Daniel created the 1st quadraphonic radio and television simulcast, as well as the multi-award-winning show "Atlanta Music Scene". He then moved to Los Angeles and attended the American Film Institute, where he produced the internationally award-winning graduate thesis film "The Expert", directed by Donald Petrie.
Throughout his career, Daniel has worked in various management capacities on hundreds of film and television productions. He has been brought in by bonding and insurance companies, as well as independent financing entities from Geneva to Tokyo, to oversee productions. One notable project he supervised was the motion picture "Evita", which was filmed in Hungary, Argentina, and England for Cinema Completions.
Daniel has also held various executive positions, including Vice President of Production for Shower, a Tokyo/Los Angeles production company, and Head of Production for Viola, a Beverly Hills-based production company. Another highlight of his career was producing a ten-camera, 35mm feature film documentary for Stevie Wonder's "In The Circle Square Madison Square Garden" concert.
In addition to his industry work, Daniel is an educator and has taught at Boston University, Emerson College, and Chapman University. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and a founding member of the Digital Cinema Society.
