Dominique Pinon, a renowned French actor, was born on March 4, 1955, in Saumur, France. He pursued his passion for literature at the Faculty of Arts in Poitiers before relocating to Paris to attend the prestigious Cours Simon School of Dramatic Arts.

Pinon's acting career spans multiple mediums, including film, television, and stage. He made his cinematic debut in Arthur Joffé's 1980 short film La Découverte. With over 100 film and short credits, he has had the opportunity to work alongside renowned actors such as Maggie Smith, Sigourney Weaver, Winona Ryder, Audrey Tatou, and Gaspard Ulliel.
