As a key contributor to "Les Nuls", Dominique Farrugia played a pivotal role in the group's success. Following their six-year stint on TV, the group decided to branch out and create their own film, Fear City: A Family-Style Comedy, in 1994. This marked the beginning of the end for "Les Nuls", as the group eventually went their separate ways.
After "Les Nuls", Dominique Farrugia took the reins as the head of Comédie!, a cable channel dedicated to humor. He then ventured into the world of food television by launching "Cuisine TV" towards the end of 2001.
In February 2002, Dominique Farrugia became the program director of Canal +, further solidifying his presence in the French television landscape. The following year, he established his own production company, Barbes Films, and signed a production deal with Studio Canal.
