Domenic Migliore's life journey began in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where he spent his early years developing a passion for filmmaking. At the tender age of 12, he started creating home movies with his friends, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. As he entered his teenage years, Domenic's creative pursuits only intensified, as he began writing short screenplays at the age of 14.
Throughout his teenage years, Domenic continued to hone his writing skills, entering various small writing contests and achieving semi-finalist status in some of them. His dedication and talent eventually led him to attend the prestigious Tribeca-Flashpoint Academy for film at the age of 18. However, Domenic's time at the academy was short-lived, as he left early to participate in a mentorship program that would prove to be a pivotal turning point in his career.
It was during this mentorship program that Domenic had the opportunity to work with actor/writer/producer Tom Malloy, who provided him with valuable notes that helped him complete his feature screenplay, "Sprawl". The film, later re-titled "Ashley", went on to be produced in 2011 and featured an impressive cast, including "America's Next Top Model" winner Nicole Fox, "Two and a Half Men" star Jennifer Taylor, and the renowned Michael Madsen. Today, the film is available to stream on various platforms, including Amazon Prime, iTunes, and Google Play.
In addition to his work in feature films, Domenic has also directed a total of seven short films and five music videos. One of his short films, "debeaked", received the prestigious "New Emerging Filmmaker" award at the 2013 Terror Film Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His work has also been featured in horror anthologies, including "Faces of Snuff" and "Ted Bundy Had a Son", compiled by filmmaker Shane Ryan.
When he's not behind the camera, Domenic is also a talented photographer, with his work having been showcased at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art and the Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregon. Today, Domenic resides in Barrington, Illinois, where he continues to pursue his passions and push the boundaries of his creative expression.
