Dmitriy Khrustalyov, a renowned Russian actor and television host, was born on February 20, 1979, in the vibrant city of Leningrad, USSR, which is now known as St. Petersburg, Russia.
As a child, Dmitriy was fascinated by the art of ballroom dancing and continued to engage in it throughout his formative years. Following his graduation, he pursued higher education at the St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, where he discovered his passion for the game KVN (1961).
Dmitriy's academic journey took an unexpected turn when he transferred to the economics department of the State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, graduating with a degree in science and education management. This marked the beginning of his successful career, which would later take him to the world of television and entertainment.
Since 1998, Dmitriy has been an integral part of the KVN team "Team St. Petersburg," serving as its captain and helping the team win numerous accolades, including the Moscow Cup in 1998 and the Higher League in 1999. His impressive performances and witty parodies of Vladimir Putin earned him widespread recognition and admiration.
After his stint with KVN, Dmitriy took a hiatus from television, only to return in 2007 as a member of the Comedy Club (2005) program, where he formed a successful duet with Viktor Vasilev. His popularity continued to soar with his appearances in the program Comedy Woman (2008).
In 2013, Dmitriy made a significant career move by becoming the co-host of Ivan Urgant in the late-night talk show Evening Urgant (2012) on the Channel One.
In addition to his television accomplishments, Dmitriy made his theatrical debut in October 2018, starring in the musical comedy "For Two Hares" at the Russian Song theater, where he played the role of Golokhvastova.
