Dimitris Tsilinikos, a multifaceted individual, has made a significant impact in the world of entertainment, education, and literature.
Born and raised in Larissa, Greece, Dimitris's early life laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He pursued his academic interests by graduating from the Physics Department of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and later earned a Business Administration degree through distance learning from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Simultaneously, Dimitris cultivated his passion for the performing arts by studying theater in a small dramatic school based in Stavroupoli, Thessaloniki. His acting career took off at the age of 30, and he has since held lead roles in over 20 theatre plays, showcasing his versatility in a wide range of genres, including ancient Greek drama, rock opera, musical, and stand-up comedy.
Dimitris has also made a name for himself in the film industry, appearing in over 20 feature films and 1 TV series. His directorial skills have been showcased twice at the National Theatre of Northern Greece, and he has written and directed the theatrical play "Salonika, the covetable city" for the same institution in 2017.
In addition to his creative pursuits, Dimitris has received numerous accolades for his performances, including the Best Male Actor award at the 5th Filme Short Film Festival in Thessaloniki in 2015 for his role in Gregory Vardarinos' "The Noir Project".
Dimitris is a polyglot, fluent in Greek, English, French, and Italian, and has participated in literary readings and documentaries as a narrator. His literary endeavors have also led to the publication of his first children's book, which was nominated for the Best Children's Book award at the National Book Awards in 2016.
In a unique blend of art and business, Dimitris teaches a seminar entitled "Business Theatre," which applies theater techniques to enhance the skills of business executives. He is a devoted father to his daughter and resides in Thessaloniki, Greece.
