Dibyendu Bhattacharya is a talented Indian actor who has made a mark in both Hindi and Bengali cinema, as well as web series.
After completing his education at Behala Arya Vidya Mandir High School, Dibyendu attended Vivekananda College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also holds a prestigious certificate from the National School of Drama.
Dibyendu's acting career began in 2001 with the comedy-drama Monsoon Wedding, alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Lillete Dubey. He then went on to work with Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji in the historical drama Mangal Pandey in 2005, directed by Ketan Mehta.
Since then, he has acted in numerous Bengali and Hindi films and television shows. One of his most notable roles is that of Chunni in the movie Dev.D, and Layak Talukdar in the Hotstar web series Criminal Justice.
He has also made appearances in cameos for popular mainstream movies like Black Friday, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, and Chittagong. In the following years, he made appearances in films such as Ab Tak Chhappan, Maqbool, Robber, B.A. Pass, and Guddu Rangeela.
Bhattacharya has also starred in the Emmy-nominated Netflix thriller Sacred Games, alongside Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He also appeared in the Netflix anthology drama Ray, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, and Kay Kay Menon.
In addition to his film work, Bhattacharya has also appeared in several web series, including Selection Day, The Gone Game, Mirzapur, Rocket Boys, and 24: India. He has also worked in TV shows like Aar Ya Paar, Thinkistan, Maharani, and Code Name: Tiranga.
Throughout his career, Bhattacharya has been recognized for his performances, including a nomination for Most Popular Supporting Actor in a Web Series in the IWM Digital Awards for his role in Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega.
