Devon Chivvis is a multifaceted creative force, exceling as a writer, director, and producer of both narrative and documentary television and film. Her academic and professional journey began with an MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts in 2003, where she had the privilege of being mentored by renowned director Robert Zemeckis. This experience laid the foundation for her future success, as she was later recognized as an "upcoming director" by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2010.
Since 2003, Devon has been prolific in her work, producing, writing, and directing documentary and narrative television and film for a diverse range of clients, including the National Geographic Channel and the Travel Channel. Her expertise extends to narrative recreations, with several scripts and TV pilots written to her credit.
Devon's educational background is equally impressive, boasting a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in International Relations and French, with a minor in Italian. Her studies also took her to Paris, where she honed her skills in international economics at Sciences Politiques and photography at the Spéos Institute of Photography, as well as the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico.
