Delilah Gates is a diligent and ambitious graduate student currently pursuing advanced studies in the esteemed Physics Department at Harvard University.
Prior to her academic tenure at Harvard, she successfully completed two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Physics and the other in Mathematics, from the prestigious University of Maryland, College Park.
As a dedicated researcher, Delilah focuses her scholarly endeavors on the fascinating realm of high-spin black holes and gravity. Her primary objective is to analytically identify and characterize the observational signatures of near-extremal Kerr black holes, leveraging the emergent near-horizon conformal symmetry.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Delilah's interests lie in a range of topics, including (near) extremal black hole geometries, black hole binaries, the AdS/CFT correspondence, and black hole entropy.
