Deborah Seidel, a transplant to Nashville, brings a wealth of experience to her craft, having spent years performing in theater, film, and television in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Deborah initially pursued a career in acting, taking on various roles in multiple episodes of Snapped and Murder Comes to Town before making the move to East Tennessee in 2013.
Following a brief hiatus to raise her daughter, Sarah, Deborah returned to performing, quickly landing leading roles in several films and television shows, including The Alpha Test, Homicide Hunter, Translation of Memory, and One More Time.
In the spring of 2019, Deborah made the move to Nashville, where she has since become a fixture in the city's film and television scene, taking on leading roles in Everyone Will Have Long Hair in Heaven and appearing in commercials for Bose, O'Charley's, and Greater Knoxville Honda.
In addition to her on-screen work, Deborah has also been involved in various music and video projects, as well as print work.
A highly educated actress, Deborah holds a BFA in Theater and has completed post-graduate acting studies at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship.
When not performing, Deborah can be found practicing yoga, cooking vegetarian meals, hiking, or traveling with her husband. The couple recently spent a month in Panama and Costa Rica, where they are actively learning Spanish in preparation for their next adventure in Central America.
