Deborah, a multifaceted individual, has made a name for herself as an actor, comedian, and writer, with notable roles including Denise Miller on IFC's Stan Against Evil and Esther on CBS's The Great Indoors.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Deborah spent her early years in a household where her parents, both physical education teachers, instilled in her a sense of discipline and structure. The family later relocated to Boston, where Deborah was raised alongside her siblings in a nurturing environment.
Deborah's academic journey took her to Foxcroft School, a prestigious girls' boarding school in Middleburg, Virginia, where she honed her skills and prepared for her future in the performing arts. Her dedication and passion for acting led her to enroll in the acting conservatory at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, with campuses in both Los Angeles and New York City.
As a testament to her love for theater, Deborah co-founded a theater company with fellow alumni from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. For over a decade, from 2005 to 2015, the company produced numerous innovative and avant-garde plays in a unique LOFT-type space that was once The Challenge Butter Creamery in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.
In addition to her work in theater, Deborah is also a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, where she regularly performs in sketch and improv comedy at both the main theaters and independent venues around town.
Deborah is deeply committed to giving back to her community, particularly in the area of dyslexia awareness. As a proud advocate for The Dyslexia Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by her father, Deborah is actively involved in promoting programs that help children overcome reading challenges and achieve academic success.
When not in Los Angeles, Deborah can be found spending time with her family and dogs in her hometown of Boston, where she often returns to reconnect with her roots.
