Dawn has been drawn to the stage since the age of two. She participated in Summer Theater and Local Township Productions, which led her to her High School stage career. After graduating High School, Dawn was accepted to the world-renowned Stella Adler Studio in New York City.
She became certified in various aspects of acting, including Shakespeare, stage combat, voice and speech, movement, scene study, script interpretation, on-camera technique, industry profession, and improvisation. Dawn's stage debuts at Stella Adler include Martini in the all-female version of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", The Doctor in "The Cripple of Inishmaan", and four lead roles in Caryl Churchill's "Top Girls".
Graduating from the Stella Adler Conservatory in June 2009, Dawn was accepted to One on One Studios in NYC. She has since studied film with top casting directors and has won rave reviews for her work as a seriously disturbed serial killer. Dawn was even called out for the lead role opposite Gwyneth Paltrow.
Dawn is now an avid SAG-AFTRA member and has been selected to be on last year's SAG-AFTRA Television Nominating Committee as an honorary Board Member for the 2013 SAG-AFTRA Awards. She has interviewed everyone from George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, and Christian Bale.
Dawn has had minor, supporting, and lead roles for various networks and studios, including The Biography Channel, HBO, NBC, Columbia Pictures, New Line Cinema, Warner Bros., Discovery ID Network, Time Warner Channel, LandlineTV.com, and The Onion News Network. She has also appeared in commercial, music video, New Media, and modeling credits.
Some of Dawn's notable roles include portraying the real-life individual Lucy in the true ghost story "Please, Talk With Me", starring as Hannah Fairfield in "The Bates Haunting", and playing the lead role of Rita Hayworth's friend in an episode of Celebrity Ghost Stories on the Biography Channel.
Dawn's more mainstream work includes the theatrical release of "Excuse Me for Living", starring Christopher Lloyd, Jerry Stiller, and Wayne Knight, and the Academy Award-winning movie "Argo" as the only Female Space Trooper.
Dawn has been chosen to play the lead role of Wendy in the new series "Vision", directed by world-renowned French cinematographer/director Gerard Gentil. She is also on the panel of writers for the new series and is reteaming with Mr. Gentil for the new film "Aeterna", which will be released in 2017.
In her spare time, Dawn is a professional acting teacher/director to children, teenagers, adults, and is also a Broadway director. She is a professional writer, director, and producer.
