Biography

David Bryce Thomson, born David Torrence, was the second child of eleven children to Henry Torrance Thomson and Janet Bryce. He was given the name David Bryce Thomson at birth. David was born on January 17, 1863, in Edinburgh, Scotland. His younger brother, Ernest Torrence, would later become a character star in his own right.
