Upon returning to Los Angeles, David's big break came when he was scouted from an acting workshop taught by Chip Fields, mother of "Gimme a Break" and "Living Single" star Kim Fields.
One role led to another, and David was on his way to becoming a successful actor. He has drawn inspiration from his favorites, including Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Delroy Lindo, and Johnny Depp. In just a few short years, David has managed to consecutively appear on the TV screens of some heavyweight projects, such as Lost, 24, CSI, Law and Order, NYPD Blue, The Guardian, Moesha, Clueless, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and as a regular on the CW's The Parenthood.
In recent years, David has formed the production company ROCKET FUEL ENTERTAINMENT, which focuses on the production of Network Television Shows and Feature Films. He has several projects in the works, including the upcoming Wall Street dramedy "Broker Boy$" and the Hip Hop Cartoon entitled "KID'S CREW".
