David Sung-Joon Kim, a talented individual, embarked on a journey of self-discovery in the city of Los Angeles, where his fascination with martial arts was kindled by the legendary Bruce Lee. This early exposure to the world of martial arts would later shape his passion for acting, a passion that began to take root during his high school years and continued to flourish throughout his college tenure as a theater major at California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
As a freshman, David was presented with the opportunity to work on his first film, "Balls of Fury," which marked the beginning of his foray into the world of cinema. His exceptional acting talent, however, was first recognized in the stage production of "Houdini's Box," where he played the lead role of Harry Houdini. This prestigious role allowed him to travel to Shanghai University in China, where he had the privilege of performing the production for a global audience.
Since graduating in 2009, David has been involved in a diverse range of film projects, showcasing his versatility as both a martial artist and stuntman. His credits include notable films such as "Mortal Kombat," "Conan," and "Battle of the Year," solidifying his position as a talented and sought-after actor in the entertainment industry.
