David Feehan is a multifaceted individual with a strong background in both the arts and business. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, he began his academic journey at Memorial University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and a Diploma in Performance and Communications Media.
During his time at Memorial University, David also developed his skills as an independent filmmaker, producing videos for local businesses, not-for-profits, and arts organizations. He collaborated on numerous projects with Pilot Communications in St. John's and later became the company's Creative Director.
In addition to his work in the business world, David was also an Artistic Associate of the theatre company GraveYard Shift Productions. He produced and acted in several plays, honing his skills as a performer and behind-the-scenes professional.
After gaining experience in both business and the arts, David decided to pursue his passion for acting full-time. He moved to Edmonton, Alberta, and enrolled in the University of Alberta's BFA in Acting program, graduating with Distinction.
As a narrative filmmaker, David has written, produced, and directed several short films. His notable works include "BreakIn(g)", which won the DC Shorts Screenplay Competition in 2014 and the Audience Choice Award at the Nickel Independent Film Festival in 2015, and "Jacob1234", which was picked up by CBC's Canadian Reflections for broadcast and online streaming.
Throughout his career, David has demonstrated a unique ability to balance his creative pursuits with his business acumen, making him a versatile and talented individual in the world of film and theatre.
