David Burnell IV, the eldest of three siblings, was born on the picturesque island of Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii, where his life was deeply influenced by his military upbringing. As the son of David Burnell III, a retired combat medic who served in the Vietnam War, and Charmaine Burnell, a retired Senior Accountant for Walmart Operations, David's childhood was marked by frequent relocations every three years, exposing him to various cultures and allowing him to effortlessly adopt different accents.
David's athletic prowess led him to play football for the East Carolina University Pirates, where he earned the nickname "The Flea" due to his diminutive stature and exceptional quickness. Following his graduation, a chance encounter with a gentleman in a fine uniform presented him with an intriguing opportunity: the chance to travel the world for free. David seized this chance and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Hawaii, California, Seoul, Korea, and Munich, Germany.
Throughout his military career, David found himself deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan with alarming frequency, and the constant pressure to maintain a "cold-hearted killing machine" persona began to take its toll. The day a rocket struck mere feet from the T-wall, David realized that his acting talents could fetch him a more lucrative compensation.
Upon returning to the United States, David began to pursue his passion for acting, enrolling in American Ninja Warrior competitions, short films, commercials, and eventually, movies. He acquired reputable agents and has been professionally acting since 2018. With a few promising movies set to premiere in 2020, David Burnell IV is poised to make a significant impact in the entertainment industry.
