Dave, the chief creative officer at Cinesite and Aniventure, oversees the feature animation division of the entertainment services company, responsible for all creative aspects of the company's output, as well as cultivating new talent to work on a slate of upcoming releases.
Prior to joining Cinesite, Dave served as the vice president of talent at Chris Meledandri's Illumination Entertainment, a position he held since the company's inception. During his tenure, the films he worked on were some of Universal Studios' most profitable of all time.
Before Illumination Entertainment, Dave was also employed at Dreamworks and an executive producer for Screen Imagination Agency (SIA) in Eastern Europe. His directorial debut, The Picture of Dorian Gray, was also the acting debut of Josh Duhamel.
Dave earned dual degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA),from the University of Richmond in Virginia, where he was presented with the University's highest award, The University Mace. He also holds a Master's Degree in Producing from the American Film Institute (AFI).
Born in Washington, DC, Dave is one of the only members of his family to not work for the U.S. Government.
