Dave Mullins is a renowned writer-director, boasting an impressive array of accolades, including Academy Award and Annie Award wins. He co-founded ElectroLeague, a pioneering entity in the animation industry.
Mullins' notable film credits include WAR IS OVER!, which took home the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and the Annie Award for Best Animated Short Subject. Additionally, his film LOU earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Short Film.
Prior to his successful career in animation, Mullins attended the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where he honed his skills in painting and filmmaking.
In 1995, Mullins joined Walt Disney Feature Animation as an animator, marking the beginning of his 20-year tenure at Pixar Animation Studios. During his time at Pixar, he oversaw animation on several Academy Award-winning films, including Up and Soul, as well as Golden Globe-nominated titles such as Cars 2, The Good Dinosaur, and Incredibles 2.
Currently, Mullins resides in Moraga, California, with his wife, Lisa Mullins (also an animator),their two children, and their beloved dog, Pickles.
