Seeking to hone their acting skills, they traveled to New York City, where they studied under the guidance of Phillip Gushee, a renowned instructor in the Meisner technique. It was during this time that they made their debut as a silent bit player in the film "True Believer," portraying the character Jimmy Chin, whose tragic fate serves as the central plot point of the story.
In addition to their work in the film industry, they have also ventured into the world of independent filmmaking. As the writer, producer, director, and star of their low-budget indie film "Kung Phooey!", they collaborated with a talented cast, including Michael Chow, Joyce Thi Brew, and Colman Domingo.
