Danny Lopes is a Luso-American entrepreneur, abstract expressionist, actor, and film producer. Born in Livingston, New Jersey, he was raised in the neighboring town of Kenilworth, where he began his acting career at the age of 8. He started with grammar school plays and commercial auditions, eventually landing the lead role of "Bobby" in Dante Tomaselli's film Desecration in 1999 at the age of 15.
Danny's early career was marked by his work with director Dante Tomaselli, who cast him in his second feature film, Horror, in 2003. He also worked with Tomaselli on Satan's Playground, a film that starred Ellen Sandweiss, Edwin Neill, and Felissa Rose.
After graduating from Roselle Catholic in New Jersey, Danny moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting degree. He earned his acting certificate from the New York Film Academy while continuing to work with Dante Tomaselli.
Danny's passion for film production grew alongside his acting career, and he continued to expand his portfolio with roles in television series such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Dante Tomaselli's upcoming remake of the hit film Alice, Sweet Alice, created by Alfred Sole.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Danny is also a successful entrepreneur and artist. He founded XingXang Studios in Hollywood, California, which produces and showcases his abstract artwork. His mixed media creations are inspired by the works of legendary icons such as Pollack, Dali, and his cousin, Portuguese surreal artist, Dina Lopes.
