Daniel Wu is a renowned Hong Kong-American actor, director, and producer with a career spanning over twenty-five years. Born in the United States, Wu moved to Hong Kong in the late 1990s and began his journey in the entertainment world.
Wu's early success came with his role in the film "Bishonen", which was directed by Yonfan. He then went on to star in several films, including "Gen-X Cops", "Purple Storm", and "City of Glass", earning him his first Hong Kong Film Award nomination.
In the early 2000s, Wu received two more Hong Kong Film Award nominations for his roles in "One Night in Mongkok" and "New Police Story". He also made his directorial debut with "The Heavenly Kings", a humorous glimpse into the Hong Kong music industry.
Wu's international film credits include "Around the World in 80 Days", "Blood Brothers", "Overheard", "The Man with the Iron Fists", "Europa Report", "Go Away Mr. Tumor", "Warcraft", "Geostorm", and "Tomb Raider".
