Biography

Colin transformed his passion for movies, fascination with technical innovations, and acting hobby into a career in filmmaking. As a student, he created several award-winning CGI animations and VFX-driven short films that showcased his exceptional skills.

Upon graduating from Wesleyan University in 2007, Colin joined Connecticut-based independent production company Synthetic Cinema International, where he has been actively working ever since.

In 2011, Colin made his debut as a feature film director with Steve Niles' Remains, which marked the first original feature for NBCUniversal's Chiller Network. He went on to direct two more features for the network, Dead Souls and Deep in the Darkness, both of which were based on novels by Michael Laimo.

Colin's upcoming project is Wishin' and Hopin', a heartwarming Christmas story about a 10-year-old boy in 1964, based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Wally Lamb.

In addition to his directing responsibilities, Colin also produces for SCI and supervises post-production and VFX, ensuring that films are delivered on time and within budget.

Colin strongly believes that a good director should have a deep understanding of every role on set, from the technical aspects to the creative process. He sets the tone for the cast and crew with his infectious energy, often found standing by the camera, close to the performance.
