Daniel Talbott is a multi-talented individual with a passion for the performing arts. As a writer, director, actor, and producer, he has made a name for himself in the industry. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and nominations, including a Lucille Lortel Award for his work as a theater producer.
Talbott's television credits include working as a writer on the second season of the ABC series "The Conners." He has also written for the Weinstein Company and Spike TV on the series "The Mist," based on the Stephen King novella. Additionally, his hour-long drama pilot "Summer" was optioned and is currently in development with Sonar and Killer Films.
In the world of theater, Talbott has had a successful career as a playwright and director. Talbott is currently working on a new play with Lucy Thurber titled "The Land of Ghosts" and was recently commissioned by Echo Theater Company for their 2020 season. He is also creating, co-writing, and directing the "Confession Project."
Throughout his career, Talbott has received numerous awards and accolades, including a 2011 Theater Hall of Fame Fellowship and being named one of 15 People of the Year by nytheatre.com. He is a graduate of Juilliard and a member of Echo Theater Company and the Actors Studio.
