Daniel was born in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and his life took an extraordinary turn when he became the youngest serving Police Officer in Greater Manchester Police at the tender age of 19 in 2002. He went on to spend an impressive 10 years as a frontline Police Officer, gaining valuable experience and skills.
During his time as a Police Officer, Daniel had the opportunity to appear in the production of THE NEWSPAPER BOY alongside the talented Suranne Jones, where he worked closely with Mark Hudson. This experience sparked a passion for acting, leading him to secure a place at the prestigious Manchester School of Acting to further hone his craft.
After serving as a Police Officer for a decade, Daniel decided to resign in 2013 to focus on his burgeoning acting career. Since then, he has enjoyed a diverse and successful career, with numerous television credits to his name. Some of his notable roles include FOUR LIVES, directed by David Blair for the BBC, as well as series regular DC Will Gibbons in PREY series 1 and 2 for Red Productions, PC Darren Brody in CORONATION STREET for ITV, Billy Parker in HOLLYOAKS for Lime Pictures and Channel 4, Chris Heyworth in CASUALTY for the BBC, and recurring roles on Doctors for the BBC.
In addition to his television work, Daniel has also appeared in several films, including ENEMY LINES, directed by Anders Banke, starring alongside Ed Westwick, John Hannah, and Tom Wisdom.
When not acting, Daniel is the Co-Founder of the Children's Bereavement Charity 'Once Upon a Smile', a cause that is extremely close to his heart.
