Daniel Gillin, a native Californian, has been exhibiting his innate talents since the tender age of being able to crawl. From the moment he began to move around, he was either pushing a ball or belting out tunes into a microphone. His executive father and show business mother provided him with an exceptional blend of athletic prowess and stage presence. Growing up, Gillin lived a typical childhood with his two parents, engaging in activities such as Little League baseball and basketball, surfing, skating, skiing, and playing in a rock band where he took on the role of lead singer.
Among the various hobbies he enjoyed, writing stood out as his true passion. Whether it was penning sports articles for newspapers, editorials, or simply poems for his girlfriends, Gillin demonstrated a remarkable gift for gab on paper and in front of crowds.
Although writing is his passion, Gillin believes his niche lies in directing. He possesses a natural vision for life and is driven to showcase this vision to the masses in order to continue the healing process. Furthermore, Gillin has lived the life of the stories he tells, giving him a unique perspective and authenticity.
In addition to his passion for writing and directing, Gillin is also the owner of a management company, Paradi$e Entertainment, which represents models, musicians, and up-and-coming actors. His vision is to cultivate the next generation of great actors and feature them in his films. With eight years of experience in the industry, Gillin has assembled an impressive list of producers, directors, actors, and financiers attached to his projects, including Paradi$e, Road To Nowhere, The Trophy, The Pick Up, Burn Off, and Feelin' Compton.
