Daniel's journey in ballet began in 2005 when he started training in Santa Barbara D'Oeste under the guidance of Ana Rita Da Silva.
Four years later, in 2007, Daniel received a full scholarship to further hone his craft at Pacific Dance Arts in Vancouver, where he was fortunate to study under the esteemed Li Yaming.
In 2009, Daniel's talent and dedication earned him a spot at the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix in NYC, where he finished in the top twelve. His impressive performance caught the attention of the judges, who subsequently offered him a full scholarship to participate in the summer program at the renowned Jacob's Pillow.
As a seasoned professional, Daniel has had the privilege of dancing with Ballet BC for two seasons, performing a range of pieces including a premiere work by James Kudelka, as well as classical ballets such as Carmen and Peter Pan. His repertoire also includes variations from notable productions like Flames of Paris, Swan Lake, Raymonda, Don Quixote, and Coppélia.
In his career with CBJ, Daniel has had the opportunity to take on leading roles such as Florimund in Sleeping Beauty, Prince and Suitor in Cinderella, Romeo and Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet; Siegfried, Pas de Trois & Spanish Dancer in Swan Lake, Dimitri in Anastasia, and Lord Birch in The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition.
In addition to his impressive stage presence, Daniel has also made a name for himself in the world of film, starring in the short film The Marvelous Girl, which was produced by CBJ and premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
