Dan Mor is a multifaceted actor, renowned for his captivating performances in various film and television productions, including Killing Jesus and Underbelly 'The Golden Mile', as well as the Australian sci-fi film Arrowhead.
Born and raised in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Dan's early life was marked by his service in the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF),where he honed his skills as a shooting instructor. Simultaneously, he was a member of the national Water-Polo team, showcasing his exceptional athleticism.
Dan's academic pursuits took him to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),where he studied Pre-Med. Later, he completed his studies at Tel-Aviv University, graduating with a degree in Life Science.
In 2001, Dan relocated to Sydney, Australia, where he began to focus on his acting career. Trained in the Meisner Technique, mime, and movement, he started out by playing a drug lord in the critically acclaimed Australian film, Cedar Boys. His impressive performance caught the attention of the producers of the award-winning Australian drama series Underbelly, who extended an invitation to audition for Underbelly 'The Golden Mile', in which he portrayed the notorious Danny DKKaram.
Dan's portrayal of DKKaram garnered widespread critical acclaim, with publications such as the Daily-Telegraph praising his chilling menace, and Film Ink describing him as an "incredibly ambitious individual with an intensity not unlike the biggest movie stars".
