Dan, an award-winning director, writer, and editor from the UK, has made a name for himself in the world of narrative fiction. His debut feature film, "Unhinged," released in 2017, received international distribution through 88 Films and eOne entertainment. The film's success was followed by his #3MinuteHorror series, which gained widespread acclaim and amassed over 2 million views online.
The series was licensed by Crypt TV, and its first episode, "The Mime," went on to screen at several prestigious film festivals, including the Bafta and Oscar qualifying Leeds International Film Festival, Vortex, and the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Dan's fascination with magic began at a young age, and a "Making of Jurassic Park" book had a profound impact on him. He started making experimental films using a LEGO webcam when he was just 9 years old. However, it was during his adolescent trauma, while undergoing chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer at the age of 14, that he wrote his first serious short film.
This film went on to win the "Best Young Filmmaker" award at the Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film Festival in 2009, and Dan hasn't put down a camera since.
