Biography

Dale Dye, a remarkable individual, was born on October 8, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. His academic journey began at the Missouri Military Academy, where he graduated as a cadet officer, but unfortunately, his family's financial situation made it impossible for him to pursue further education.

Undeterred, Dye took the courageous decision to enlist in the United States Marine Corps in January 1964. He served in Vietnam during two distinct periods, from 1965 to 1967 and again from 1970, participating in an astonishing 31 major combat operations.

Throughout his time in Southeast Asia, Dye earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious Bronze Star for valor and three Purple Heart medals, which he received for wounds sustained in combat. His dedication and bravery during this period ultimately led to his rise through the ranks, as he spent 13 years as an enlisted Marine, ultimately achieving the rank of master sergeant.

In 1976, Dye was selected to attend officer candidate school, and upon his graduation, he was appointed a warrant officer. He later converted his commission and was promoted to captain, serving in a variety of assignments worldwide.

In addition to his military accomplishments, Dye also pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland.

Following his retirement from the Marine Corps in 1984, Dye worked at Soldier of Fortune magazine for a year before venturing into the world of journalism. He spent time in Central America, reporting and training troops in guerrilla warfare techniques in both El Salvador and Nicaragua.

In 1985, Dye left the magazine industry and transitioned to the entertainment sector, where he founded Warriors, Inc., a company that provides technical advisory services to the entertainment industry worldwide. His services include performer training, research, planning, staging, and on-set advisory for directors and other key production personnel.

Throughout his remarkable career, Dye has demonstrated unwavering dedication, bravery, and a strong work ethic, earning him a reputation as a respected and accomplished individual in both the military and entertainment industries.
