Daisy Earles, a talented individual, made the bold decision to leave her native Germany in the early 1920s, relocating to the United States, where she reunited with her siblings, Harry Earles and Gracie Doll. The trio, soon joined by their sister Tiny Doll, embarked on a brief but notable film career, making a limited number of appearances on the big screen before deciding to hang up their acting hats in 1930. The siblings opted to pursue a new challenge, joining the prestigious Ringling Brothers Circus, where they remained until the mid-1950s.
During this period, the Earles siblings made only a few sporadic film appearances, with notable exceptions being their roles in the classic 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz" and Daisy's fleeting cameo in the 1952 Best Picture winner "The Greatest Show on Earth". After a successful but relatively short-lived career in the circus, the four siblings eventually retired in the mid-1950s.
Tragedy struck when Gracie Doll passed away in 1970, followed by Daisy's untimely demise in 1980. Harry Earles met his demise in 1985, bringing an end to the remarkable lives of this talented and beloved family of performers.
