Biography

Second-born of eight children, Craig Richards is a veteran of the film and television industry since the late 1970s. His family moved to various assignments throughout the United States due to his father's career in the Marine Corps.

Craig began performing in live theatre in 1977, quickly landing lead roles in productions such as "Laura", "Barefoot In The Park", "Born Yesterday", and "Finishing Touches". He also directed the theatrical production of "Heaven Can Wait" and produced and directed various television commercials.

In 1980, Craig moved to Los Angeles, California, where he lived and worked until 2002. During this time, he performed in a number of films, including "Corky Romano", "Rat Race", "The Majestic", and "The Princess Diaries". He also appeared in numerous guest and recurring roles on primetime television series.

After relocating to Bend, Oregon, Craig returned to his theatre roots, earning critical acclaim for his live performances at the 2nd Street Theater stage. He has also starred in a number of films, including "Hawaiian Vacation", "Open", "Infidel", and "Extremely Used Cars: There Is No Hope".

Craig co-founded and served as first president of Film Oregon Alliance, an advocacy organization formed to attract more film and television projects to Central Oregon. He has also produced, written, and directed numerous award-winning television commercials and promotional projects.

In addition to his work behind the camera, Craig has appeared in a number of films and television shows, including "Buying Naked", "Lurk", "Lucky Star", "Man Maid", "Punk Love", and "Surrender". He is currently based in Tampa, Florida, where he runs his production company, Dolphin Heart Productions.
