Coy DeLuca is a multifaceted individual with a rich cultural heritage, boasting roots in Hungary and Sicily. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he has been a part of the vibrant New York City arts scene since the 1980s. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, Coy has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most renowned actors and directors in the industry.
As a classically trained pianist, Coy began performing at a young age, eventually developing a remarkable five-octave vocal range. He discovered that his voice and creative writing skills were powerful tools for self-expression. Throughout his career, Coy has delivered electrifying performances at iconic venues such as Starland Ballroom, State Theatre, Hollywood Casino, Webster Hall, Tammany Hall, Fat Baby, and Trash Bar.
Coy's musical endeavors have been just as impressive. As the lead singer for the Manhattan-based heavy-metal band OLOM, he recorded a six-song EP at Vibromonk studios, which was released on iTunes in 2011. Later, he collaborated with the bassist of 80's glam rock band Howe II to release "Devil on a Treestump" and "(You're) Addicted." Coy has also shared the stage with notable bands and musicians, including Killswitch Engage, Accrassicauda, and the Cella Dwellas.
In addition to his musical pursuits, Coy has made a name for himself in the acting world. With his extensive acting training, he has portrayed a wide range of characters on screen and stage. Notable roles include appearances in Law & Order: SVU alongside Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T, The Mysteries Of Laura with Debra Messing, and Oprah Winfrey's Unfaithful: Stories of Betrayal. Coy has also performed in the Off-Broadway hit Tony 'n Tina's Wedding and was featured in Michael Alago's book, Beautiful Imperfections, due to his unique look.
Most recently, Coy guest-starred in the new Netflix series Seven Seconds, created by industry veterans Lawrence Bender, Gavin O' Connor, and Veena Sud. Throughout his illustrious career, Coy DeLuca has consistently demonstrated his versatility, talent, and dedication to his craft.
