Corey's journey in the entertainment industry began while training for a Golden Gloves boxing tournament in Southern California, where he was discovered in his gym and subsequently cast to play the role of a young boxer in the feature film The Sting II (1983) for Universal Pictures. This experience sparked his interest in the entertainment industry, and he spent the next four years honing his craft as a professional stuntman on the popular television show The Dukes of Hazzard (1979).
As his skills as a stuntman grew, Corey's talents became increasingly in demand, leading him to work on several other action-packed shows, including The A-Team (1983),Hunter (1967),and The Fall Guy (1981). Throughout his illustrious twenty-year career, Corey has remained an extremely busy and sought-after professional stuntman, having worked alongside some of Hollywood's most renowned stars.
Some of Corey's most notable credits include performing stunts for Tom Cruise in Far and Away (1992),Mission: Impossible II (2000),and Vanilla Sky (2001); for Robert De Niro in Midnight Run (1988) and Backdraft (1991); and for Sylvester Stallone in Cobra (1986) and Get Carter (2000).
