Biography

Corey Grant, a talented individual, hails from Joliet, Illinois, where his journey began. He pursued his passion for communications at Norfolk State University and Virginia, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field.

Following his academic endeavors, Corey gained valuable experience working for NBC before deciding to shift his focus towards the world of film. He relocated to Washington, D.C., enrolling at Howard University to further his education and acquire a Master's degree in Film.

Upon completing his graduate studies, Corey relocated to the entertainment capital of Hollywood, California, with the intention of taking his film career to new heights. He went on to write and direct his third feature film, Dysfunctional Friends, which received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success upon its theatrical release and subsequent availability on DVD and VOD.

Corey's subsequent project, The Lost Coast Tapes, marked a significant departure from his previous work, as he ventured into the realm of mainstream horror. The found footage thriller garnered positive reviews and was subsequently picked up for worldwide distribution, with a release date scheduled for the fall of 2012.
