Cordereau 'Cord' Dye is a multifaceted entertainment professional with a career spanning over two decades. Born on March 20, 1987, in Charlotte, North Carolina, he began his journey in the entertainment industry at the tender age of five.
His early start was marked by a role in the Christian Bible verses musical video compilation, Hide Em In Your Heart Volume 1 (1992),alongside Steve Green. This was followed by appearances in four motion pictures, including Waterproof (2000),Michael Jordan: An American Hero (1999),The Angel Doll (2002),and Having our Say: The Delaney Sisters' First 100 Years (1999),a TV movie that won a prestigious Peabody Award in 2000 for Excellence in Television.
In addition to his film work, Cordereau has also lent his talents to commercials and radio spots for prominent brands such as Presbyterian Healthcare, Hardee's, Target, The Charlotte Housing Partnership, and The College Foundation of North Carolina.
Throughout his career, Cordereau has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of professionals, including Burt Reynolds, Debbie Allen, Ernie Hudson, Camille Cosby, Diahann Carroll, Richard Roundtree, Ruby Dee, Orlando Jones, Robin Givens, Lonette McKee, and Whitman Mayo, to name a few.

One of Cordereau's most notable projects was Road Trip (2004),a 2004 NYC International Film Festival Award Winning educational film produced by Kendall Phills. In this project, he not only acted but also co-produced the musical score. He also made an appearance in the 'Lake Pontchartrain Jane Doe Killer' episode of America's Most Wanted (2005) as a robbery victim.
Cordereau's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Hampton University, which he earned in 2009. He has also written a dramatic screenplay entitled The Family Trap, which is currently in pre-production (2016).
