Biography

Conrad's journey in the film industry commenced in 1970, marking the beginning of his career as a stuntman. Since 1980, he has evolved into one of the most in-demand Second-Unit Directors, boasting an impressive portfolio of top films to his credit. Among his close friends and colleagues, he is affectionately known as Connie. Conrad has demonstrated his commitment to giving back to the industry by serving as the President of the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures for a total of four terms. Furthermore, he has contributed to the Screen Actors Guild by serving on its Board of Directors. Notably, during his five-year tenure, Conrad played a pivotal role in establishing the National Stunt and Safety Committee, which he chaired for several years. Additionally, he was one of the first stunt coordinators to be invited into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science. Conrad's dedication to his craft has also led him to serve on the esteemed Blue Ribbon Committee of the World Stunt Awards.
