Claire Llewellyn, affectionately known as 'Fluff', was born in Worcestershire, England, and demonstrated a passion for acting and writing from a young age. Her creative pursuits began with writing lyrics, poetry, and short stories, which she continued to develop throughout her teenage years and early twenties. During this time, she also fronted a local rock band as the lead vocalist and lyricist.
As she entered her thirties, Claire relocated to Illinois, where she led another rock band and expanded her creative endeavors beyond music. She soon discovered the world of background acting, landing extra roles in television shows and feature films through various agencies.
Seeking more challenging opportunities, Claire found herself drawn to the independent film market, where she could utilize her creative talents to the fullest. Her love for horror films also played a significant role in her decision, leading her to become immersed in the Chicago Indie Horror scene.
In her capacity as an assistant to a Gothic Illusionist, Claire gained valuable experience and even co-hosted a local horror show. Her enthusiasm for the film-making process continued to grow, prompting her to form her own production company, 'Bloody Brit Productions'.
Through this company, Claire is not only producing and writing her own films but also starring in them. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to organize her own independent film festival, 'Short Bus To Insanity Film Festival', which debuted in September 2013 to great acclaim.
In addition to her work in film, Claire has also explored her writing talents, self-publishing two poetry books, 'LOVE is a KILLER' and 'RHYME & REASON: Facets of a Life', both available on Amazon.
