Canadian actress, raised in the east end of Toronto, Ontario, began her acting career at the tender age of seven. She spent four years as a regular dancer on Citytv's Boogie, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience. Her breakthrough role came when she landed a part in the feature film The Kidnapping Of The President, alongside esteemed actors William Shatner, Hal Holbrook, and Eva Gardner.
However, she didn't limit herself to just acting. She pursued a career in music, joining her uncle Charlie Ecstein in the family show band 'Something Kinda Different' as the lead female vocalist. For fourteen years, she traveled across Canada, performing and entertaining audiences.
Later, in 1991, she made the bold decision to relocate to the west coast of Canada, where she once again dipped her toes into the world of film and television. This move proved to be a pivotal moment in her life, as it opened up a plethora of artistic opportunities. She spent time on stage, both in theater, cabaret, and stand-up comedy clubs across the lower mainland, showcasing her versatility and range.
As she delved deeper into her creative pursuits, she rekindled her passion for writing. She immersed herself in the world of arts, becoming a triple threat entertainer, with credits as a director, producer, published author, writer, and playwright. Her company, Zigante Designs Boutique, allows her to express her artistic side, creating original works that showcase her unique style.
When not working on film or television projects, she can be found indulging in her love of crafting and artistic design. She resides in the beautiful Fraser Valley of British Columbia, Canada, with her husband of over twenty years, her BFF, and two adorable fur babies, Basil and Ginger.
